Statement:
Reworking, rejuvenation, recycling and respect. These are words that apply to my work for the last several years. I have been painting over older oils either my own canvases or other found pieces. The older work contributes to and colors the new. The history and contours are incorporated into the art, creating a distinct synthesis and vibrancy. It feels like all of the other parts of life where the best outcomes are a blend of the present and past.
